What It Is

From noticeable to barely there

We begin with serum-based micro-channeling to improve texture and stimulate natural tone improvement from within.

When visible contrast remains after inkless sessions, we layer carefully matched pigments to blend the scar with your surrounding skin. Texture first, then color — the most natural results.

Important: We specialize in flat, healed scars with visible color contrast. We do not currently treat raised scars, keloids, or scars with significant textural irregularity. We’ll assess honestly during your free consultation.

Our Approach

How we treat scars

The SkinAlchemy two-step process

We assess your scar’s color, texture, and maturity:

1
Inkless (serum) sessions

Softens scar texture and begins natural tone improvement. Especially valuable for scars with both color and texture issues.

2
Pigment camouflage (if needed)

Skin-tone pigment matched to your exact undertone. Patch test confirms compatibility first.

Who it’s for

  • Flat, healed scars with visible color contrast against surrounding skin
  • Surgical scars (C-section, cosmetic, orthopedic) that have fully matured
  • Old injury scars with discoloration but smooth texture
  • Scars at least 12 months old and fully stable

Who it’s not for

  • Raised, keloid, or hypertrophic scars
  • Scars less than 12 months old or still changing
  • Active skin conditions or wounds in the treatment area
  • Skin currently on isotretinoin, retinoids, or strong chemical peels

Questions

Common questions

At least 12 months. Flat, stable, cleared by your physician.

Flat, healed scars with visible color contrast — surgical, C-section, injury scars. The scar needs to be stable and at least 12 months old. We’ll assess during your free consultation.

Significant reduction, not perfection. Most see dramatic improvement.

Not always. Some respond well to inkless alone. We only add pigment when it genuinely helps.
